Suspect In Custody After State Building Breach In Hartford: Reports

HARTFORD, CT — One person is reportedly in custody after being discovered inside a state building in Hartford Sunday afternoon.

According to Fox 61, state police at Troop H in Hartford were called to 165 Capitol Ave. at about 5:11 p.m. Sunday.

The building, according to Fox 61, houses the offices of the attorney general, secretary of the state, and the Teachers Retirement Board.

Citing the state Department of Administrative Services, WTNH Channel 8 said an “unauthorized” person was found in the vault located in the basement.

The suspect has yet to be identified.
