Francois joins SummitMedia as VP/Programming – RAMP – Radio and Music Professionals

• SummitMedia LLC has announced the arrival of J’Michael Francois as the new Vice President of Programming for R&B and Gospel, overseeing WBHK (98.7 Kiss FM) And 06:10 AM WAGG/Birmingham, AL, WJMZ (107.3 Jamz)/Greenville, SC And WRKA (103.9 The Groove)/Louisville.

Francois joins from Cumulus Media, where he served as Operations Manager of the company’s stations in Baton Rouge and New Orleans for the past 18 years. During his tenure, Francois led WQXL (Q106.5) to the #1 Urban AC in Baton Rouge, and WEMX (Max 94.1) to the market’s No. 1 Urban station. Francois also programmed the cluster’s legendary No. 1 Gospel station, WXOK-AM (Heaven 95.7).
