Current and Former LSU Athletes Competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics: See List

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — LSU will be well represented at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Current and former student-athletes are representing the Tigers in nearly every popular event at this year’s Olympics. From tennis to track and field, check out these athletes with LSU ties representing their home states.

According to LSU Sports, a total of 45 Olympic medals have been awarded to 34 student-athletes during 14 Summer Olympics.

For some athletes, this is the second or more time they have competed at the Olympic Games.

This Olympics will feature current and former LSU athletes competing in basketball, beach volleyball, gymnastics, swimming, diving, tennis and track and field. The Tigers will also have a coach officiating, as David Patrick, associate head coach of the men’s basketball team, is an assistant to the Australian team.
