Man shot at busy St. Paul bus stop after his e-bike was stolen – Twin Cities

A man was shot and robbed of his electric bike last weekend at a busy bus stop in St. Paul, Metro Transit police said.

According to Nikki Muehlhausen, the department’s spokesperson, he was initially listed as critical but was stable on Monday.

According to Muehlhausen, the man was attacked because of his electric bicycle, which the suspect then took away.

Officers responded to the shooting around 3:30 p.m. Saturday near Snelling Avenue and Spruce Tree Drive, a block from University Avenue.

The victim was taken to Regions Hospital. As of Monday afternoon, no arrests have been made and the Metro Transit Police investigation is ongoing.
