Tallahassee man arrested in alleged hit-and-run death of bicyclist last July

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man is in custody after a fatal hit-and-run crash last July.

Jerry Bridges is accused of leaving the scene of a fatal accident and DUI. Arrest papers state his blood alcohol content was three times the legal limit. He also tested positive for THC.

According to investigators, Bridges struck Joseph Browning, a bicyclist, last year on West Tennessee Street, near Aenon Church Road.

Officers found Bridges a few miles from the crash site.
