JetBlue to stop flights from Fort Lauderdale to Tallahassee

MIAMI – If you’re planning a trip to the state capital, cross JetBlue off your list.

The airline is ceasing flights between Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee.

According to the airline, there was simply not enough work to keep the route operating.

JetBlue’s last flights between South Florida and Tallahassee will be on October 27.

Customers who purchased tickets for travel after that date will receive a refund.

In addition to Tallahassee, JetBlue said it will also suspend flights to Burbank, California, Charlotte, North Carolina, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota, Palm Springs, California, and San Antonio, Texas.
