Semi-fire in Decatur County – WRBI Radio

A truck that caught fire around 3 p.m. Monday afternoon briefly closed I-74 in Decatur County.

The semi fire was near the 123 mile marker eastbound on I-74 between the St. Paul and Greensburg exits, and lane closures backed up traffic for nearly three miles. The Indiana Department of Transportation initially expected the closure to last nearly four hours, but cleanup and emergency crews were able to reopen the highway within an hour.
