Denver Weather: Warm and sunny again, temperatures in the triple digits

DENVER (KDVR) — Most of Colorado will be mostly sunny Tuesday, with highs near triple digits in the Eastern Plains, according to the Denver weather forecast.

A heat advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the metro area. Air quality advisories are in effect for the northern Front Range until 4 p.m. Fire warnings are also in effect from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Weather tonight: clear and mild

The sky will remain clear Tuesday night, while lows will remain very mild. Tonight lows will drop to the lower 60s with light winds.

Looking ahead: staying warm

Wednesday will remain warm, but less hot, with highs around 35 degrees.

The forecast is sunny through midweek, but high temperatures will persist. Thursday will see above-average highs in the mid-90s and a chance of showers in the southern plains.

Friday will also be pleasantly warm, with temperatures around 35 degrees Celsius. In the afternoon there will be some clouds and a chance of a shower.

Saturday starts the weekend with a mix of sun and clouds, temperatures around 35 degrees and a chance of a late storm.

On Sunday afternoon there will be extra cloudiness with highs around 36 degrees.

The heat and above average temperatures will continue until the start of the work week. Monday will see temperatures around 32 degrees Celsius and occasional sunshine.
