Fire reported north of Lyons in Boulder County

DENVER (KDVR) — A wildfire was reported in Boulder County on Tuesday. The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said the fire was located in the Stone Canyon area near Lyons.

Authorities ordered an evacuation of the area due to the fire.


This included parts of Lyons north of US Highway 36.

The fire is separated from the Alexanderberg fire, which is raging further north.

The images show dark smoke and fire in the area.
