The Mafia in the Western Suburbs

John J. Binder, author of The Chicago Outfit and Al Capone’s Beer Wars, will discuss the history of organized crime in the near western suburbs, both in terms of criminal activity and where the mobsters themselves lived. This will be an educational event for an audience of approximately 30-40. Co-sponsored by the Olmsted Society and the Riverside Library. Open to the public.
