Super crocodile hunter Adam Robert Corden Britton is a crocodile expert and known zoo sadist who was born in England in 1970 but now lives in Australia. He was charged with 60 offences of sexual abuse and torture of animals and possession of child abuse material and was charged in September 2023.

He accepted the charges against him and was sentenced to 10 years in prison starting in August 2024.

Britton was born in West Yorkshire and raised in the United Kingdom. He left Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in 1987 after completing his A-levels.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Leeds in 1992 and a Master of Philosophy in Zoology from the University of Bristol in 1996.

He moved to Australia in 1996 and that same year he first met his future wife, who was a Wildlife Ranger and biologist. They set up a consultancy and worked with wild crocodiles.

Britton and his wife both worked for the BBC and were crocodile experts for a programme with David Attenborough and National Geographic.

He also worked as a research associate at Charles Darwin University.

He was one of the specialists who appeared on the History Television New Zealand of NHNZ produced program Animal Face-Off on Discovery Channel/Animal Planet.

The Australian court has been informed that Britton previously used the online site Gumtree Australia to search for dogs that were suitable for a new home. He promised to take the dogs to his large piece of land near Darwin, where they would be given a new home.

The man allegedly records the cruelty to the animals and posts the videos on social media under the aliases ‘Monster’ and ‘Cerberus’. He also allegedly uses these platforms to view child abuse material.

His disturbing actions resulted in the deaths of 49 dogs, 39 of which died.

He also pleaded guilty to four charges, namely obtaining and distributing material relating to child exploitation.

He was arrested in April 2022. His arrest was the result of a video that went viral on social media platforms YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.
