NDLEA foils drug cartels’ plan to exploit #EndBadGovernance protests against illegal activities

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officials have thwarted attempts by drug cartels to exploit recent protests to support their illegal activities.

The NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, made this revelation on Sunday and shared a number of videos on platform X in support of their activities.

Babafemi said the cartels planned to use the protests to move their “markets” by land, sea and air.

Sharing the videos, he wrote: “The drug cartels thought they could take advantage of the protests to quickly move their ‘markets’ from all fronts: land, sea and air.

“But #ndlea_nigeria confronted them in equal measure with personnel, intelligence, technology and sniffer dogs. Here are some of the results.”
