JD Vance Says on CBS’s ‘Face the Nation’ Kamala Harris Is Doing Nothing to Stop Chinese From Producing Fentanyl (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit

Republican Senator and Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance was a guest on CBS’s “Take on the nation“with Margaret Brennan on Sunday to discuss topics such as China’s production of Fentanyl.

“Do you see China as a competitor or an adversary?” Brennan asked.

“I think they are both, right? And I think what we want to do here is build the kind of international order where we can contain China,” Vance said.

“The Chinese know they are producing tons of fentanyl that they are bringing into our country. Kamala Harris has done nothing about this. She should be putting diplomatic and economic pressure on the Chinese to stop producing this fentanyl, which is then going to the Mexican drug cartels,” Vance continued.

JD Vance also spoke about the importance of the child benefit and its possible increase to $5,000 per child.

“The US should look at lowering income tax rates for women with multiple children, and you pointed to Hungary as a model for that. How do you plan to implement that policy?” Brennan asked.

“Well, it’s called child benefit and we should expand child benefit,” Vance replied.

“The child tax credit has languished under the Biden administration because Harris failed to demonstrate fundamental leadership,” Vance continued.

“I would like to see a $5,000 per child tax credit,” Vance said.

They also talked about how the choice of vice president “rarely matters.”

“President Trump has said you’re great, but when you look at what determines elections, the vice presidential pick rarely matters. How are you going to prove them wrong?” Brennan asked.

“Well, I think President Trump is right about that. I think most people are going to vote for Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. Donald Trump has delivered rising wages and a secure border. Kamala Harris has delivered an open border and falling wages relative to inflation,” Vance said.
