Ludhiana: On a Complaint of a Preacher Harpreet Singh MakhuSadar police have filed an FIR against youth activist Gurvinder Singh Prinkle. It is alleged that the accused threatened the complainant on social media and used abusive language against him. Complainant Harpreet Singh Maukhu and accused Gurvinder Singh Prinkle had been guilty of an altercation about an interview conducted by the former. Pinkle is said to have made some comments about this.
ACP (South) Guriqbal Singh said the complainant alleged that accused Prinkle had called him, insulted and threatened him.
Prinkle was earlier associated with the Congress. Earlier, when a woman accused Lok Insaf Party leader Simrajit Singh Bains of sexual exploitation, Prinkle had openly supported the woman in her agitation. Prinkle has been in the news for his political and other rivalries.
