‘The Younger the Better’: Indy Man Accused of Sending Child Porn, Rape Videos to Young Girls on Twitter

INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man is facing more than 10 felony charges after police were notified that he was uploading and sharing child pornography featuring young girls on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Jayden Edwards, 24, was charged last month in Marion County with child exploitation and possession of child pornography after Indy police received a digital tip that CSAM had been uploaded to his X Corp (Twitter) account. He is now being held on $40,000 bail.

IMPD was notified on April 4 that a local X account, “@naptownmadeejje,” had uploaded alleged child pornography. The 45-second video allegedly showed a nude girl under the age of 12 being raped by an adult male.

Detectives then requested all files and data associated with the account, which yielded an email address and several IP addresses tied to Edwards. The files provided by X Corp also reportedly included media files uploaded by the account and messages sent to other users.

In these messages, IMPD found that Edwards allegedly messaged underage girls and asked if they wanted to see “rape or (child pornography) videos” accompanied by a pizza emoji. The account then sent messages discussing having sex with the underage girls.

“Pedos have big dicks, baby. To force little girls,” one conversation read. “The younger the better. Is it bad that I want to fuck that 13-year-old mouth? No, I want to rape your underage ass.”

The account allegedly sent victims child pornography videos describing the sexual acts he wanted to perform, and photos of a man believed to be Edwards himself were sent to a 13-year-old victim. Detectives also found conversations about bestiality and incest.

Court documents state that after further investigation into Edwards, police found a Snapchat account linked to him called “yfan_jay.” After obtaining all of the account’s information, they found additional child pornography and videos that depicted children and dogs in a sexual manner.

IMPD officers found Edwards sitting in a silver 2019 Impala along Meridian Street on July 16 and arrested him after seizing a black iPhone he was using. Edwards allegedly told officers he lived with his parents in Indy and used the email address [email protected].

During an interview at the police station, court documents allege Edwards admitted to being addicted to child pornography and regularly masturbating to it. He reportedly told police he distributed the videos on X before his account was terminated for a violation.

“(Edwards) further stated that he had viewed child pornography ranging in age from infants to teens,” the court documents state. “(Edwards) stated that he distributed child pornography multiple times during X’s chat conversations and Telegram and that he also had an unknown number of videos stored on his phone.”

Edwards was charged that same day in Marion District Court with 10 counts of child exploitation (a Level 4 felony) and one count of possession of child pornography (a Level 5 felony).

Online court records show Edwards made his first court appearance on July 18 and his trial is scheduled to begin on September 25 under Judge Mark Stoner.
