‘Thief Simulator 2’ launches on Xbox Series consoles on August 14

Developer CookieDev and publisher Ultimate Games SA announced last week that their stealth simulation title ‘Thief Simulator 2’ will be coming to Xbox Series consoles tomorrow, on August 14th. It is currently available on PlayStation 5 consoles. Combining stealth, simulation, and adventure in a mafia thief world, players will go from poverty to riches in this sequel to the well-received Thief Simulator title. A Nintendo Switch version is also planned for the future.

Thief Simulator 2 is a game developed by CookieDev and Ultimate Games SA, known for popular series such as Ultimate Fishing Simulator and Electrician Simulator.

Games in the Thief Simulator series are among the most popular simulators of recent years, with total sales on PC and consoles reaching several million copies. The second part is even better rated by players than the first. Currently, the percentage of positive reviews on the Steam platform reaches 90% (out of more than 3500 opinions).

Thief Simulator 2 combines stealth, simulation and adventure in a mafia thief world. It is a first-person perspective (FPP) game with two game modes (story and free mode). According to the developers, the new version improves the mechanics and elements that are appreciated by players, while adding many new features and putting more emphasis on realism.

Gameplay in Thief Simulator 2 is based on various activities, including observation, planning, action, and then covering trails and liquidating loot. The simulator offers two large locations with dozens of houses and special places such as a resort and a gold-containing bank. In theft activities, players can use a wide range of tools (including crowbars, binoculars, surveillance drones, and hacking tools).

According to the developers, Thief Simulator 2 offers about 20 hours of fun in a world full of mafia thieves.
