Minor boy dies after being thrown by uncle onto floor – Newspaper

TOBA TEK SINGH: A two-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries at Faisalabad DHQ hospital on Tuesday after his uncle threw him onto the floor in D-Type Colony.

Reports said two brothers, Nadeem and Farooq, the father of the boy, Zain, were arguing over money at their home in D-Type Colony.

During the altercation, Nadeem picked up the sleeping Zain and threw him onto a cemented floor, critically injuring the child.

Zain was rushed to DHQ Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Zain’s parents and other relatives brought his body to Kutchery Bazaar Chowk and staged a protest, demanding the immediate arrest of the killer.

PROTEST: Scores of residents of different localities of Faisalabad blocked traffic on Jhang Road near Saifabad locality to register their protest against Wasa over its failure to clear choked sewerage lines.

The protesters belonging to Baboowala, Nematabad, Rashidabad and Saifabad informed the media that dirty water was flowing through streets and in their houses but Wasa staffers were doing nothing to drain out the water from the area.
