Flowery Branch man faces 300 additional charges in child sexual exploitation case

A Flowery Branch man arrested earlier this year on suspicion of child sexual exploitation now faces hundreds of additional charges related to possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Mario Jovon Lindsey, 19, was arrested on April 9 following an investigation prompted by cyber tips from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s (GBI) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

At the time, Lindsey was charged with three felony counts of child sexual exploitation following a search warrant executed at a residence on Parks Road. He was released from the Hall County Jail on April 11 on $8,850 bond.

The latest charges stem from the ongoing forensic processing of electronic devices seized from Lindsey’s residence in April, the sheriff’s office said. Detectives say they discovered an additional 300 images of young children engaged in sexually explicit activity on Lindsey’s laptop and cellphone.

Lindsey was arrested on Wednesday, August 14th at the Hall County Jail on the latest charges and is currently being held without bail.
