Hickory man jailed on multiple human trafficking charges

Ketjuan O’Neal Moss, 35, of 17th Avenue NE in Hickory, was arrested late Tuesday night (August 13) by Hickory police on suspicion of trafficking in opium or heroin, trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in cocaine, and possession of a schedule II, III or IV controlled substance, along with a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Moss was taken into custody without incident at approximately 11:55 p.m. Tuesday at an address on 10th Avenue Drive SE in Hickory. He was booked into the Catawba County Detention Facility, where he is being held without bail. District and Superior Court appearances were scheduled for today (August 14) in Newton.
