19-year-old arrested, faces nearly a dozen sexual exploitation charges

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A Horry County man is facing nearly a dozen sexual exploitation charges after detectives received a tip about his online activities.

The Horry County Sheriff’s Office reported that 19-year-old John Fisher Lunn was arrested Wednesday by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. He faces 11 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Detectives received tips from Verizon, Snapchat and Discord about his alleged criminal activity between January and July of this year.

WMBF News reached out to Robert Kittle, a representative from the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, about the case and was told more details would be released Thursday night or Friday.

The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.

Lunn is being held at the J Reuben Long Detention Center awaiting trial.
