Diosdado Cabello condemns far-right violent plans for August 17 in Venezuela

Regarding the violent plans, he indicated that they concern Petare and come from “people from outside: Álvaro Uribe, groups of sicarios”.

The First Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, condemned on Thursday that the far-right opposition is plotting to trigger new violent events in the country on Saturday, August 17.

The Chavista politician continued to insist that this plan is being organized with gangs from the parish of Petare, in the state of Miranda, and stated that “this is not a false positive. None of that (…) we are not interested in violence, it is interested in others, terrorists,” he considered.

In the same way, the PSUV leader urged Venezuelans to be alert to the possible presence of the far-right. Diosdado Cabello indicated that the people of the parish of Mirandina are extraordinary and great, and affirmed that there are “gangs of criminals who want to take over, as if it were a territory to generate violence.”

He also said, regarding the violent plans regarding that area, coming from “people from outside: Álvaro Uribe, groups of sicarios”, referring to the former Colombian president.

Meanwhile, he noted that the opposition is looking for people who cause violence and “kill other people themselves” before the Sabbath.

In the program he leads, Con el Mazo Dando, Diosdado Cabello presented an audio in which, according to him, he heard two criminals. One of them calls himself the “Puma” and tells what they plan to do on Saturday, August 17.

According to Diosdado Cabello, the audio was presented to provide evidence of “what they are preparing”. “I condemn it, because madam and sir, we told you before the elections: take care of your children, don’t let them manipulate you”.
