About us:

AL-AMEEN for humanitarian aid is a non-governmental organization founded in 2012 by a group of volunteers during the Syria crisis and registered in the US, Sweden and Turkey.

AL-AMEEN is implement projects through regional offices in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine and Somalia.

Our work sectors are: health, nutrition, education, food security and livelihoods (FSL), protection, shelter and non-food items, washing and sanitation.

AL-AMEEN also manages development projects and is committed to the empowerment of civil society organizations and local government.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Drive the vehicle safely, in accordance with traffic rules and safety regulations.
Transporting people or goods to the desired destination on time.
regularly cleans the interior and exterior of the vehicle(s)
Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure readiness (e.g. checking oil, water, tires and brakes).
Ensure that the vehicle is clean both inside and out.
immediately report all project or office vehicle involvement in accidents, including minor accidents, damage, loss or theft of vehicle equipment
Please adhere to the designated routes and management instructions.
Perform regular maintenance and report any faults or problems with the vehicle.
Submit daily reports on trips and miles traveled.
Punctuality, keeping calm and professional behavior.

Qualifications:

assists other colleagues in the project, program or office as needed when no travel is planned, performs other office work as requested
if applicable, perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle you wish to drive.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a vehicle driver.
  • Good knowledge of traffic regulations and road safety practices.
  • Possibility to move between provinces
  • Effective communication skills.

Languages:

  • Arabic and Turkish are required (oral and written)
