Ultra – Connecting to Mobile Network is a struggle

So I’m a recent convert from the Apple Mafia over to the Samsung Knights. I got my Galaxy Watch Ultra yesterday and have had the worst time trying to connect this thing to my cellular plan with ATT. The wearable app constantly fails to connect with the carrier and even at one point told me that ATT doesn’t even offer watch plans, which is false. I’ll likely have to call ATT customer support which is mind boggling because, coming from the fruit company, every cellular Apple watch I have bought was a zero hassle setup. Anyone else had similar issues? Did I just get unlucky?
