Jasveen Sanghacalled the “Ketamine Queen“has been arrested in connection with the death of ‘Friends star Matthew Perryand an investigation into her background has revealed a deep obsession with the mafia.
Sangha, who is accused of supplying the ketamine that allegedly led to Perry’s death last October, has long had a fascination with the world of organized crime, TMZ reported. Interestingly, she even reportedly has a website dedicated to the history of the mafia, inspired by iconic films like “Scarface” and “The Godfather.” On her site, she expressed a strong “love” for mafia history, which she said began during her school years when she chose to research notorious American crime families for a project.

Her website, which has sections like “Mafia Mug Shots,” “Famous Mafia Faces,” “Cities of Mafia Families,” “Mafia History” and “Favorite Mafia Movies,” links back to an old email address at the University of California, Irvine. Sangha, a proud UC Irvine alumna, has described her interest in the Mafia in several posts.

According to the TMZ report, Los Angeles police and federal investigators suggest that Sangha’s criminal activities were likely influenced by her obsession with the mafia.

In the ongoing investigation into Perry’s death, she is charged along with her Dr. Salvador Plasencia with conspiracy to distribute ketamine. The U.S. Attorney’s Office also charged her with maintaining a drug related properties

possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and multiple counts of Ketamine distribution.
If Sangha is found guilty on all charges, he could face life in prison. Several others involved in the case, including Erik Fleming, Dr. Mark Chavez and Perry’s former assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, have already accepted plea deals.
