Harris ad cameo captures anger from local sheriffs

Associate professor Faith Sidlow, who directs the media, communications and journalism department at California State University, Fresno and has taught media law courses, told the Sun-Gazette in an email that the ad raises only one potential problem from a media law perspective. Sidlow said the only issue could be copyright infringement if the Harris campaign didn’t have permission to use the press conference video clip if it came from a TV station.
