Twin Falls County Man Arrested on Child Sexual Exploitation Charges

Attorney General Raul Labrador announced that investigators with the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested Daniel DeKruyf, 56, on Thursday, August 15, 2024, in Twin Falls County. DeKruyf is facing 20 counts of sexual exploitation of a child.

The ICAC Task Force received assistance from several agencies, including the Rupert Police Department, Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, Jerome Police Department, and Electronic Storage Detection K9 units from both the Idaho Falls Police Department and Rupert Police Departments.

“Every arrest our ICAC Task Force makes represents a countless number of exploited and abused children,” said Attorney General Labrador. “It is our job to investigate, apprehend and prosecute these predators and keep them out of our neighborhoods. I am grateful for the hard work of our ICAC Task Force and the partnerships they are building across our state. Each new partner agency helps make our communities safer.”

Persons with information regarding child exploitation are encouraged to contact their local law enforcement, the Attorney General’s ICAC Unit at 208-947-8700, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the Internet to criminally exploit children.
