What is the best camera for street photography in 2024?

I think the Fujifilm X100VI—

There is no “perfect” camera. Don’t fall into GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) and mistakenly believe that buying a new camera will make you a better photographer.

If you are not feeling inspired in your photography, I suggest you buy books, not stuff. Also check out these 75+ inspirational photo books you need to buy. You can also download my free books.

Conclusion

Of course, this is just a list of things that work for me. It probably won’t work for you.

But I was inspired to make this list – because it took me about 10 years to find the best gear for me. And this works for me, and I hope it can simplify your purchasing decisions (at least in photography and some other details).

I continue to make articles and videos about gear because I believe (to some extent) that having the “right” gear in life makes life easier. But the problem is that we fall victim to GAS (gear acquisition syndrome), where we buy things for the sake of buying them (happened to me).

If you already have a bunch of gear that works for you, stick with it. But if you need some help, I hope this list has helped.

Always,
Erik
