New research shows that children at risk of exploitation by criminal gangs believe police are “illegitimate, unresponsive and inadequate”.

A study into under-18s and the criminal exploitation of children (CCE) found that many felt vulnerable to violence and criminal activity simply by ‘loitering’ and some even reported feeling unsafe at school.
