Game Pass News for August 10-17

The past week has been extremely bad for Game Pass subscription news. From August 10th to August 17th, only 1 new project was added to the game service, plus major Overwatch 2 bonuses were announced for subscribers to the service. New Games in Game Pass

In just one week, only one new game has been added to the Game Pass subscription: a remake of the first Mafia.

Mafia Definitive Edition (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC)

Mafia Definitive Edition was released in 2020 and was well received by players and critics. The first Mafia was significantly updated in terms of graphics, plus the controls were modernized, while the main plot and gameplay remained.

Also this week, a 10-hour trial of EA’s new game, Madden NFL 25, became available on Game Pass Ultimate.

Subscription Announcements

Game Pass hasn’t announced any new games in a week, but Microsoft has announced that subscribers to the service will soon receive huge bonuses in Overwatch 2.

Starting September 17, Overwatch 2 players with a Game Pass subscription (who have linked their Xbox and Battle Net accounts) will receive big bonuses:

30 Mythic Prisms that can be spent on various items. 6 skins: Cardboard Reinhardt, Turtle Ship D.Va, Cyber ​​​​​Dragon Hanzo, Street Runner Genji, Mercy Bee and Cleric Lifeweaver.

The bonuses will be available for a few weeks before being rotated. Microsoft plans to provide Game Pass subscribers with different bonuses in Overwatch 2 on a regular basis.
