Bills Mafia Babes Gather To Support Their Team

FAIRPORT, N.Y. — Self-proclaimed Bills Mafia Babes gathered at Tin Cup Social in Fairport on Sunday. The group, for female football fans, is one of several Buffalo Bills fan groups in the Rochester area.

This was the second annual gathering for women to enjoy a game with other fans. The ladies were able to chat about the store during a replay of Saturday’s pre-game and check out some Bills merchandise.

According to organizers, there are 36,000 Bills Mafia Babes holding rallies in nearly every state.

“Women have been so degraded as fans who weren’t smart enough or we should have done something different,” said Suzanne Halberstadt, self-proclaimed Bills Mafia Babe. “There are real Bills fans here and football fans too. We educate each other because other people might not be as polite.”

Organizers also say the only men allowed in their Facebook group are a pair of former Bills players. There was also a fundraiser for BestSelf Behavioral Health, the Bills’ official mental health partner.
