Watch: Colorado residents sound alarm as Venezuelan gangs take over entire apartment complex

Colorado residents are warning that gangs of illegal Venezuelan immigrants have taken over an entire apartment complex and are using it as a headquarters for store robberies, kidnappings and human trafficking.

Colorado residents have taken to social media to describe how Venezuelan gangs have completely taken over apartment complexes in Aurora, collecting rent at the landlord’s expense, robbing stores, kidnapping and trafficking women, and threatening the lives of anyone who asks questions.

“Right now there are two apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado that have been taken over by Venezuelan gang members. They’re even saying, ‘Come here man, we’re going to take your life and we’re going to take your family’s life,’” one man said on TikTok, adding that he had tried to alert local police and the FBI, who told him they couldn’t do anything because of “squatter laws.”

“These guys are collecting rent on behalf of the landlord in the building,” he continued. “And every time someone moves out of the apartments, they bring in more Venezuelan migrants.”

“They’re patrolling the building with guns! What? In America? That shit sounds like something out of a movie,” he added.

Another resident described how the gang members rob local businesses, kidnap people and engage in sex trafficking, and how the government and law enforcement do nothing about it.

“Some Venezuelan gang members have taken over an apartment complex in Colorado and there is absolutely nothing the government, the police, Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement…nobody is doing anything about it,” the woman said.

“I understand that they have illegal weapons because they rob places, but they also kidnap people, they rob people, they do sex trafficking and human trafficking in broad daylight.”

Another man claimed that the government wants this to happen to destabilize the country and spark race wars.

“They make tenants pay rent as if they were the landlords. Meanwhile, the real landlord can’t get these people out of their homes,” he said.

“This is what they want. To attack from within. You better stay safe. This is what they want, to attack the country from within.”

“It’s getting really crazy out here because it’s going to get to a point where it’s going to affect you. You may not live in Aurora, Colorado, but the fact that it’s happening, man, this is crazy,” he added.

According to reports, the city of Aurora is closing the 99-unit complex called Fitzsimons Place, accusing the property’s owner, CBZ Management, of allowing the complex to fall into disrepair.

But a spokesperson for CBZ Management claimed the notorious Tren de Aragua gang had driven them off the property, leaving them unable to carry out maintenance.

“We lost control of the building and could not actually go there because of the gangs, especially the Tren de Aragua, who took over the property and threatened our staff,” he said. Westworld. “This is not about ownership, this is not about management. For me, this is about what’s happening in the city with the crime itself.”

As CNN reported in June, Tren de Aragua, a ruthless transnational Venezuelan gang known for forcing women into prostitution and attacking police, is now operating at full speed in the U.S.

Local and federal officials say these seemingly unrelated crimes have a common denominator: Tren de Aragua, a transnational criminal gang that originated in a Venezuelan prison and has slowly worked its way south and north in recent years.

They say it is now operating in the United States. The extent of the operations is unknown, but crimes attributed to alleged members of the gang have worried elected officials, and some Republican members of Congress have called on the Biden administration to “formally designate the brutal Tren de Aragua as a transnational criminal organization.”

Aurora has ordered residents to vacate the building by August 13. The APD has also created a special task force to investigate the owner’s allegations.

“City officials are concerned that the property’s owners and managers are failing to provide for their tenants as required by law. The city cannot and will not allow the building to remain open for occupancy,” Aurora spokesman Ryan Luby said in a statement.

“Despite the City’s exhaustive efforts to work with the property owners and their property management group, CBZ Management, they have failed to address the violations and have not been cooperative. Conditions at the property have rapidly deteriorated over the past few weeks.”

The city turned off the water, boarded up the building and put up a fence around it on August 13. Luby called it the “only step left” to “protect the safety and well-being of the building’s occupants.”

Despite the growing scandal, Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman dismissed residents’ concerns about the Venezuelan gangs and blamed landlords for not keeping their buildings up to code.

“They are out-of-state slum landlords and they have not maintained the building,” he told Next 9News last week.

As we reported, this is all part of the open borders invasion facilitated by Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and, in the case of the Democratic state of Colorado, by Democratic leaders at the state and local level.

Think back to Venezuelan TikTokker Leonal Moreno, who in March called on over 300,000 Venezuelans to invade the US and abuse squatting laws to take over entire neighborhoods.

“My people have thought about invading a house in the United States because I found out that there is a law that says that if a house is uninhabited, we can expropriate it,” Moreno said in Spanish.

Shortly after this post went viral, Leonel Moreno was arrested in March by the ICE office in Columbus, Ohio, which confirmed that Moreno was being held “pending further immigration proceedings.”
