Matthew Goyder, 41, of Folsom, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Daniel J. Calabretta to 40 years in prison and life supervised release for sexual exploitation of a minor, U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert said Monday.

According to court documents, Goyder used Snapchat to contact and sextort underage victims for sexually explicit images and videos. Goyder claimed to be a teenage boy when he first contacted the victims. When officers searched Goyder’s iPhone, they found approximately 120 albums, many of which were labeled with the victims’ names and ages.
