REVIEW: When Samantha Ruth Prabhu called her ex-father-in-law Nagarjuna the ‘most handsome man ever’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya, shared a great bond with her then superstar father-in-law Nagarjuna. The actress has spoken about her admiration for the Kubera actor on several occasions and one such video has resurfaced online. In a throwback interview in 2019, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had chosen Nagarjuna as the most handsome man.

The actress appeared on a television show to promote her film Oh Baby!. During the candid conversation, Sammy was asked who she finds the most beautiful: Suriya and Nagarjuna. In response, she recited a famous dialogue from Nagarjuna’s film Manmadhudhu 2 and said, “My mommy is the most beautiful.”

For the unversed, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya exchanged vows in October 2017 after dating for a while. However, fate had other plans as the couple decided to part ways in 2021. Now, the Custody actor is engaged to actress Sobhita Dhulipala on August 8, 2024. The exciting news was shared by Nagarjuna on the same day he shared the first pictures from their intimate ring ceremony on social media.

Now, there are also rumours that the Shaakuntalam actress has moved on with her personal life. According to various media reports, Samantha has found love with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru. It is worth noting that the duo worked together on The Family Man 2 and then on Citadel: Honey Bunny.

On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nagarjuna have some good projects in the pipeline. Samantha will be seen opposite Varun Dhawan in Citadel: Honey Bunny. After a long wait, the release date of the series was finally announced recently and it is November 7, 2024. The series will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

She will also be seen in Bangaram, which she announced on her 37th birthday this year. Apart from acting, Samantha will also be making her debut as a producer through this project.

On the other hand, Nagarjuna will be seen opposite superstars Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna in the much-awaited film Kubera. According to reports, the story of the film is set in Dharavi, Mumbai, with Dhanush reportedly playing a homeless man who becomes a big mafia boss. Recently, the makers shared an intriguing first look at the actor from Sekhar Kammula’s directorial.
