ACT NOW! Demand WSJ Fire Journalist for Spreading Terrorist Propaganda and Anti-Israel Hate

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) is under scrutiny for its apparent disregard for journalistic integrity through the actions of one of its contributors, Abeer Ayyoub.

On October 7, while Hamas was conducting a horrific massacre of Israeli civilians, Ayyoub, a journalist based in Istanbul and originally from Gaza, used her social media platform to disseminate terrorist propaganda and fake news.

Ayyoub’s posts on that fateful day were not just unprofessional—they were dangerously biased and anti-Semitic.

She shared a violent Hamas-produced video that depicted the lynching and execution of Israeli soldiers, complete with a caption celebrating the capture of more Israeli soldiers.

Her feed was rife with hate speech, including derogatory comments about Jews and a disturbing reference to a “Jewish mafia.”

Her actions didn’t stop there. Ayyoub propagated false claims about Israeli military personnel being kidnapped and spread misinformation undermining Israel’s military capabilities.

Even after these claims were debunked, she did not retract her statements, showcasing a blatant disregard for journalistic standards and truth.

The WSJ has long been respected for its commitment to high journalistic standards, but Ayyoub’s bias and activism pose a threat to that reputation.

Her work aligns closely with anti-Israeli narratives promoted by outlets like the Middle East Eye, further undermining her credibility.

We call on the Wall Street Journal to take immediate action against Abeer Ayyoub.

It is crucial for the integrity of journalism that the WSJ addresses this issue and upholds its standards by distancing itself from contributors who compromise factual reporting with personal bias and propaganda.
