Columbia man charged with additional child sex crimes

COLUMBIA, Missouri (KMIZ)

A Columbia man who was charged with multiple child sex crimes in February has been charged again.

Keith Fletcher, 53, was charged Tuesday with possession of child pornography, second-degree child abuse, second-degree child sex trafficking, second-degree rape of a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor and witness tampering.

Fletcher is being held without bail in the Boone County Jail. An initial court appearance was held Tuesday.

Fletcher was charged earlier this year with first-degree sodomy, two counts of first-degree child molestation, one count each of failure to register as a sex offender and being a sex offender living within 1,000 feet of a school. A hearing in that case was scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3.

According to the probable cause affidavit in the criminal complaint filed Tuesday, Fletcher allegedly filmed himself sexually abusing a child multiple times between December and February.
