Mafia The Old Country was announced with a trailer at Gamescom: it takes us to Sicily

During Gamescom 2024, the event closed with a new game: Mafia The Old Country. We can see more in December 2024. It will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

It takes us to Sicily in 1900: the “old country” is therefore Italy. It is a story about the origins of the saga. The presentation reveals that it will be a narrative game.

The video shows the interior of a villa, with paintings, a gun and a knife in a desk. The view then takes us outside and we can see a small village. The narrator clearly has a strong Italian accent.

The official description reads: “Discover the origins of organized crime in Mafia: The Old Country, a compelling mafia story set in the brutal underworld of 1900s Sicily. Fight to survive in this dangerous and ruthless era, with action brought to life with the authenticity and rich storytelling that the critically acclaimed Mafia series is known for.”
