About the Chicago DNC – CultureWatch

Shocking footage is currently emerging from Chicago:

While I watched my fair share of the RNC in Milwaukee last month, I can’t bring myself to watch too much of the DNC now in Chicago. For those who don’t know, the acronyms stand for the Republican National Convention and the Demonic National Convention – also known as the Democratic National Convention.

But I’ve seen enough to seriously fear my country if the Dems win on November 5th. And there’s plenty to be said with two days to go. Biden, of course, was sent out to pasture last night. And as I type this, the Obamas are speaking. I’ve got my volume pretty low right now.

There are some general things that can be said about their convention so far. One thing that is telling is that the organizers have put up walls everywhere and that there is very heavy security. They even require that anyone who wants to enter shows a valid ID.

Too bad the Democrats refuse to do the same for America where it really matters – at the southern border. Remember how they keep telling us that requiring IDs is racist. Now it’s a very real necessity, without a hint of racism! And walls are a great thing now!

And of course, businesses in Chicago are boarded up right now. But Democrats have long been soft on crime there. Even with some of the strictest gun control laws in the country, this Democratic city had 23 shootings this past weekend — five of them fatal.

There is indeed a 10% increase in violent crime, while Chicago now has 1,700 fewer officers. What the Dems did in Chicago, Kamala and Co. want to do for America. And she and Biden have been doing it for three and a half years now.

We have drug cartels bringing tons of fentanyl through the southern border, now the number one killer of 18-24 year olds in America. But open and porous borders—the hallmark of Border Czar Kamala—not only allow massive amounts of deadly illegal drugs to flow in, but also countless illegal immigrants, child traffickers, terrorists, and violent criminals.

There is, of course, a large and growing anti-Israel bloc within the Democratic Party, and there are thousands of protesters outside Congress who support Hamas, terrorism, and ugly anti-Semitism and who are allowed to march – but pro-Israel protesters were not allowed.

And what’s missing from the convention is equally notable. I don’t see many American flags there. There’s no mention of the migrant crime epidemic in the U.S. There’s no mention of the economic disaster America is facing. Just one fact: inflation has risen 20% under Biden and Harris — 19.4% to be exact over the past 3 ½ years. The cost of living crisis is a direct result of Biden and Harris.

They even had a renegade priest praying for peace and unity! Cardinal Blase Cupich did the invocation – but he said nothing about Catholic moral teaching. He didn’t even mention the name of Jesus! And yet he is the Pope’s Cardinal in America.

The Sacrament of Abortion

One of the primary ways we put the demonic on display in Chicago is through the constant mantras about the right to kill babies. How many speakers have we heard worship at this satanic altar? As a social media friend, Michele Hriscko Cook, put it, “They couldn’t go more than a few minutes without bringing up their sacrament of child sacrifice.”

And abortion giant Planned Parenthood is offering free abortions and vasectomies at the DNC. Seriously. There have been dozens. As pro-lifer Lila Rose said on the first day, “There have been 10 helpless babies sacrificed so far in the DNC death cult.”

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who has left both Islam and atheism and I am now a Christian, said the following about the Democrats and abortion:

Freedom of choice, supposedly, is one of the core freedoms of her campaign. There is something distinctly tortured in the way she defines these freedoms. The child has no right to live, but the mother has the right to “make decisions about her own body.” This right presumably includes making decisions about the child’s body. Restricting the right to bear arms, like the right to life, is reframed as a kind of inverted freedom: in her speeches, the state that restricts the possession of firearms is “the freedom to be safe from gun violence.” (This is, of course, the same state that fails to protect its citizens from a variety of lawless acts such as muggings and illegal border crossings.) Now, one may take different positions on the freedom of citizens to bear arms, but it is a freedom! Presumably, the (recently lifted) ban on women driving in Saudi Arabia gave women the “freedom to be safe from car accidents.”

She continues:

Kamala Harris has been more busy distancing herself from her previous, left-wing positions than articulating her new ones. But on one issue she has been consistent: abortion. We already know why the far-left in the Democratic Party talks so much about abortion. The conventional answer is that it is their most popular issue.

Except that the Democrats’ position on abortion does not reflect the opinion of the American public. Abortion is a deeply divisive issue that intelligent people of good will vociferously disagree about. However, only a small segment of the population, largely housed in the identity politics sections of academia, believes that abortions should be legal until or even after birth. Yes, after birth. And yet, post-birth abortions have been legalized by several blue states, including, most recently, Tim Walz’s Minnesota. (Worse yet, they are supported by woke-corrupted medical journals, which have in turn been criticized by even moderately liberal media outlets.) Take a closer look at the changes Walz made to this law. You see, late-stage abortions are risky procedures because the baby is usually viable. Abortionists are usually able to cut off the baby’s limbs and crush its skull before it emerges from the womb, but not always. Before Walz’s procedure, when a baby was born alive, the doctor had to change his goal from killing the baby to helping the baby live.

Anyone with any sense will be shocked by the logic here. Surely birth did not somehow transform “a mass of cells” into a person. If we are to care for and protect a newborn, surely we are to care for a baby in another location. Walz-like extremists have caught up with the logic of this, but they have drawn the conclusion in the other direction. If you have the right to kill a baby after nine months of pregnancy, surely you still have the right to kill a baby a few seconds later. Hence the removal in Minnesota of the requirement to “preserve the life and health of the live born infant.”

Her closing words are as follows:

Democrats used to be apologetic and ashamed about abortion. Think “safe, legal, and rare?” Whatever happened to “rare?” Democrats have turned this election into a referendum on the moral character of this country. They are asking voters to reject Trump because of his personal moral and ethical failings. If the American people—despite agreeing with Trump on most policy issues—side with the empty pantsuit DEI hire and her Midwestern Moloch of a sidekick, we will be even further down the road to hell than many of us thought. https://www.restorationbulletin.com/p/the-abortion-election

Spiritual takeaway

The pro-death religion so evident at the DNC should be enough to convince any sane person, any moral person, and certainly any Christian what a demonized group of people this really is. The cheering, celebrating, and promoting the murder of millions of children is straight out of hell. That and the push for all things gay and transgender is something we could also talk about here.

Perhaps the most relevant Bible passage at the convention is Exodus 23:2. It says, “Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong.” That pretty much sums up what we are seeing in Chicago right now. All those screaming, excited delegates encouraging every form of evil is truly shocking to watch.

What Billy Graham once said is worth repeating here: “If God doesn’t bring judgment on America soon, He’s going to have to go back and apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah!” We need to pray for the Democrats and for America. We can plead with God for His grace and mercy.

But if he passes judgment instead, it will be rightly so.
