Mafia: The Old Country brings the series back to its roots

Terry Bogard is officially coming to Street Fighter 6 On September 24, 2024, Capcom announced. The Fatal rage The protagonist was revealed last month at Evo 2024 as the Street fighter the franchise’s very first guest character.

Players can look forward to seeing the Hungry Wolf in action in just a month’s time. He’s coming to PlayStation 5 and 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Capcom also released a detailed gameplay trailer, giving fans a better look at how they can use Terry Bogard on Street Fighter 6.

The clip showcases Terry’s powerful, bone-crushing martial arts and Jeff-style combos, all while wearing his signature red cap and vest, and showing off his blonde hair.

One of his target combos is “Passing Sway”, a continuous attack that leads to a combo. One of his special signature moves, the “Power Wave”, involves him slamming his first into the ground to release a ground-hugging wave of energy. This allows him to hold distant enemies at bay.

When performed with the Hadouken command and Heavy Punch button, it becomes a move called “Round Wave”. The actions and properties of the move vary depending on the power of the punch button. This adds an extra layer of strategy to the fight.

Additionally, “Quick Burn” sees Terry unleash two consecutive punches — a hook and a downward strike — while wrapping his fists in energy. The second strike cannot be blocked with a crouched guard, so it is effective at breaking through defenses.

Terry also uses moves like “Power Charge”, “Crack Shoot” and “Rising Tackle” to turn the tide of battle.

Powerful, explosive Super Arts

Meanwhile, his Level 1 Super Art, “Buster Wolf”, involves a powerful advance with a punch followed by an explosive energy projectile. This includes invincibility upon activation, making it effective for counterattacks.

In its Level 2 Super Art, “Power Geyser”, Terry unleashes a flashing explosion that sends the opponent flying through the air. It consumes three Drive Gauge bars and can evolve into “Twin Geyser”. After the hit, you can spend another Super Art Gauge to perform “Triple Geyser” for significant damage to the opponent.

Finally, the Level 3 Super Art, “Rising Fang”, features a series of attacks that showcase Terry’s iconic moves. It launches the opponent into the air. Then, it delivers a powerful energy-infused punch for a spectacular move.

In addition to his range of moves, Terry’s Outfit 2 is inspired by his brown jacket and jeans from the latest Fatal Fury: City of Wolves. Players can obtain it with Fighter Coins. Furthermore, there is a new stage, “Pao Pao Cafe 6” of the Fatal rage series, will be released simultaneously, giving players the chance to spot other SNK characters.
