Netflix Unveils Thrilling New Crime Drama Legends

Netflix has just announced a thrilling new drama series that will take us into the world of serious crime and undercover operations.

Legends, the latest creation from BAFTA-winning writer Neil Forsyth, will captivate audiences with its gripping story, inspired by one of the most remarkable criminal investigations in British history.

Legends, produced by Tannadice Pictures, is a six-part drama that explores the extraordinary efforts of Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise in the early 1990s as they sought to combat the growing drug trade in the UK.

Based on extensive research and interviews with those involved, the series follows an unlikely group of British customs officers who are sent undercover to infiltrate some of the country’s most dangerous criminal drug gangs.

These were not seasoned spies or trained agents; they were ordinary men and women who, after a crash course in the basics of undercover work, suddenly found themselves in the underworld.

They created new identities, known as Legends, and embarked on dangerous missions that pushed them to their limits.
