Well, the report revealed 17 forms of exploitation of women, comprising of pay disparity, rape threats, unsolicited sexual comments and much more. The commission was formed to respond to a request by the Women In Cinema Collective after the 2017 incident where a Malayalam female actress was sexually assaulted in a moving vehicle in Kochi. Malayalam actor Dileep was named as the accused in the case. Several South actresses including Revathy and Ranjini reacted to the Hema Commission report. Tanushree has been shaking up the entertainment news.

Tanushree added that what is the point of this new report anyway, as they had to arrest the accused and maintain a strong law and order system. She said she remembered hearing about the Vishakha committee which had many guidelines and prepared pages of reports. She said the names of the committees kept changing. She also added that people like Nana and Dileep are narcissistic psychopaths and there is no cure for them. She said only a cruel and vengeful man can do what they did.
