32-year-old man accused of sexual exploitation of minor faces 13 felony charges

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – KYMA recently obtained charging documents regarding 32-year-old Samuel Macias, who was arrested in Glendale, Arizona after Yuma Police received a report of blackmail messages involving threats, intimidation and coercion of a minor in Yuma.

The Yuma Police Department (YPD) reported that officers responded to the report in the area of ​​James Drive and 25th Street on February 22 and executed a search warrant.

He is currently charged with 13 crimes, 10 of which involve sexual exploitation of a minor.

Macias is scheduled to appear in court again in Maricopa County on November 8.
