Tate, who is currently awaiting trial for human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang, was searched, as was his home and three other properties in Bucharest and the Ilfov region.

Romania’s Agency for Combating Organized Crime, DIICOT, said the raids were related to allegations of human trafficking, trafficking of minors, sexual relations with minors, influence peddling and money laundering.

The hearings will take place later at the agency’s headquarters.

Tate’s spokesman, Mateea Petrescu, confirmed the raids but did not elaborate on the specific allegations involving minors.

Andrew Tate, 37, and his brother Tristan, 36, were arrested in 2022 and formally charged by Romanian prosecutors last year. They have denied all charges.

When the Tate brothers were arrested, Andrew expressed frustration at the slow pace of the case, claiming he was unsure what he had done wrong.

Andrew Tate, known for his anti-woman views, has a large following on social media and repeatedly claims that prosecutors have no evidence against him, suggesting a political conspiracy.
