Construction Mafia | MEC visits eight affected sites in KZN

DURBAN- The KwaZulu-Natal government admits it is not winning the war against the construction mafia in the province.

On Wednesday, attackers stormed eight construction sites, bringing work to a standstill.

It is still unclear what they demanded.

Despite the zero tolerance policy, the government is doing everything it can to eliminate the mafia.

Martin Meyer, inspector of Public Works and Infrastructure, will visit the affected locations on Thursday.
