The new mafia game will not have an Italian voice-over

As announced by the developers, the new game will have a Sicilian voiceover to support the setting. However, they also indicated that the Italian language would appear via subtitles, without mentioning the audio. The information on the Steam page confirms this – the Italian language will only be supported in the interface and subtitles. The fans criticized the decision of the developers not to include the Italian voiceover. “You want me to believe that there won’t be audio in classic Italian? Mafia 2 had the mission in Sicily where the soldiers spoke Sicilian, but otherwise it was in English. You can’t fool an Italian, baby!” reads one of the Twitter reactions.
