‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Will Reportedly Feature the Return of a Marvel Comics Avenger

The first season of Daredevil: Reborn won’t be coming to Disney Plus until March 2025, but there’s already a lot of hype for the series, especially after the leaked trailer that was shown at D23. With the first look at White Tiger and the return of Jon Bernthal, Deborah Ann Woll, Elder Henson And Wilson Bethel as their respective characters from Netflix’s DaredevilThe now-removed trailer gave a glimpse of what we could expect from the revival. But while it did drop a few surprises, including an appearance from Mohan Kapur like Yusuf Khan–Marvel Studios held back a lot.

It takes place in New York City, Daredevil: Reborn offers a chance to further explore a corner of the MCU that was better defined by Netflix’s Defenders-verse series than by Marvel Studios. However, the Big Apple has been used extensively as a setting in the Infinity Saga and streaming projects like Ms Marvel, Hawk’s Eye And Echo all helped flesh out the finer details of the people who populate it. And it looks like one of NYC’s top socialites is returning for an appearance in Daredevil: Reborn.

According to reliable MCU insider Daniel RPK, Tony Dalton is set to return in Daredevil: Reborn like the wonderfully dimwitted jester Jack Duquesne.

Although he starred in the first five episodes of Hawk’s Eye Stumbling and staggering, Duquesne helped save the day in the finale by using his knife skills to battle the Tracksuit Mafia. As the episode drew to a close, Rhys Thomas, Bert And Bertie positioned the character to return as a version of his comic book counterpart’s alter ego, the Swordsman. Proud that he had never worked a day in his life and was always looking for new pastimes, Duquesne met First Responder Adétinpo Thomas’ Wendy gave LARPing to the idiot. Would the Daredevil: Reborn creative crew are so bold, the perfect opportunity to introduce Duquesne in a comic-accurate Swordsman costume while LARPing in NYC is there for the taking. Once a member of the Avengers in the comics, Swordsman has straddled the line between hero and villain for the past 50 years, but it would be a great move by showrunner Dario Scardapane and directors Justin Benson And Andy Moorehead to have Jack pose in honor of his golden jubilee.

Daredevil: Reborn will be available on Disney Plus from March 2025.
