Amazon Gaming Week 2024 price cuts include Spider-Man 2 and Elden Ring

Amazon has discounted a number of games in a new sale, including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and God of War Ragnarök.

As Gamescom, the world’s largest gaming conference, takes place in Germany, Amazon has launched a number of new gaming deals.

As part of Amazon Gaming Week, the site is offering discounts on a variety of PlayStation 5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch titles, along with a range of PC accessories.

Most of the deals are on PlayStation 5, with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 now reduced from £69.99 to £41.99 – its lowest price since launch last year.

If you’re looking for bigger savings, the collector’s edition for Elden Ring’s Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC has been reduced by £80 to £149.99. While this doesn’t include the Elden Ring base game (which is required to play), it does include a code for the DLC, a 46cm statue of Messmer The Impaler, an artbook and a download voucher for the soundtrack.

Elsewhere on the PlayStation 5 front, God of War Ragnarök is half price at £34.99, while Demon’s Souls is now available to buy for £28.99. Check out more deals on other platforms, including Xbox and Switch, below.

Amazon Gaming Week ends on Wednesday, August 28, so you don’t have too much time to take advantage of the discounts.

The PlayStation Store recently started a sale specifically focused on indie games, with discounts on titles like Cult Of The Lamb, Humanity and Inscryption. Unlike the Amazon sale, this is only valid for digital games.

During Gamescom’s Opening Night Live presentation, a number of new games were revealed, including Borderlands 4, Reanimal and Mafia: The Old Country.
