NCC Camp Fake Rape Case: The prime accused in a case of sexual abuse and harassment of schoolgirls at a fake NCC camp in Krishnagiri died in agonising circumstances. Fake NCC Camp Rape Case Details

Sivaraman was admitted to the Salem Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College and Hospital on Wednesday night for treatment after his suicide attempt. The attempt followed his arrest for running a fraudulent NCC camp where he sexually abused several young girls. The fake camp that was used as a cover for his criminal activities had no connection with the real NCC.

The NCW acted immediately and took cognizance of the matter on its own initiative. The NCW’s action followed a media report, which exposed the exploitation of around 12 girls from the fake NCC camp in Krishnagiri. The commission has directed the Director General of Police, Chennai, to ensure that the investigation into the case is carried out effectively and in a time-bound manner.

The commission also wanted all relevant actions to be applied to those found guilty. The NCC responded to the allegations and said that it had nothing to do with the fake camp and that the person also had no valid connection with the institution.

Eleven people, including Sivaraman, were arrested in the case on Monday. Krishnagiri District Collector KM Sarayu confirmed that the arrests were in connection with the investigation into the abuse scandal.
