ICYMI: PRESIDENT TRUMP VISITS THE BORDER

The following comes from the Trump team.

On Thursday, Team Trump went on a tour to circumvent the border crisis, with Sen. J.D. Vance visiting a city outside Laken Riley’s hometown and President Trump visiting the southern border in Arizona.

Here are the highlights from Vice President-elect JD Vance’s visit to Georgia:

FUTURE VP JD VANCE: “We’re not far from where Laken Riley was born and raised. A beautiful, beautiful young girl who would still be here today if Kamala Harris had done her job…”

FUTURE VP JD VANCE: “She (Kamala Harris) said, ‘I want to suspend deportations,’ and she did. ‘I want to stop Donald Trump’s policy of staying in Mexico,’ and she did. The reason we have an open border is because Kamala Harris reversed Donald Trump’s policy.”

FUTURE VP JD VANCE: “Once Kamala Harris is removed from office, we will no longer be open to doing business with illegal aliens or the Mexican drug cartels. That is our solemn promise to the American people.”

Here are highlights from President Trump’s visit to Arizona:

PRESIDENT TRUMP: “We have a Marxist in power… She will never build a wall and she doesn’t want to build one… If she changes her mind, it’s only because she wants to be elected, because you don’t want a strong border, do you?”

PRESIDENT TRUMP: “We are honored and moved to be joined by some of those grieving families… thousands more are still out there… We cannot allow what you are going through to happen to other families. No one has ever seen anything like this — and all for no reason.”

PRESIDENT TRUMP: “As Border Czar, Comrade Kamala has overseen a border invasion that has devastated the nation for nearly 4 years. She has allowed at least 20 million illegal aliens into our country, including millions of unvetted fighting-age men from 158 countries. Most recently, Kamala allowed the head of a Peruvian gang wanted for 23 murders. On her orders, Border Patrol is forced to release tens of thousands of illegal aliens week after week. Every day brings another story of innocent Americans being tortured, raped, murdered, and slaughtered by illegal aliens Kamala Harris has released.”

PRESIDENT TRUMP: “When Harris crossed the border, there was a 43% increase in violent crime and a 60% increase in rape nationwide. The FBI should be ashamed of itself.”

PRESIDENT TRUMP: “We will impose tough new penalties on illegal alien criminals. This includes a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years for anyone guilty of human trafficking, a guaranteed life sentence for anyone guilty of child trafficking, and a death penalty for anyone guilty of child or female sex trafficking. We will also impose the death penalty on major drug dealers and traffickers.”

COMMENTS FROM FAMILIES OF VICTIMS

RACHEL MORIN’S MOTHER: “The path that Rachel walked every day was a path that we walked… very safe, very open… I was in Kentucky… when I got a phone call… “We have found your daughter’s body…” Brutally beaten. Raped. Put in a storm drain. We are 18,000 miles from the border, and because of this open border, not only did my daughter, but we had two (victims) in the same county.”

MOTHER OF 12-YEAR-OLD JOCELYN NUNGARARY: “She was left without any clothing from the waist down, thrown in a bayou…strangled…They had no reason to do what they did to Jocelyn…they were held and released when they shouldn’t have been released. One had an ankle monitor, nothing stopped her. Now I have to spend the rest of my life with my son always asking for his sister.”

AMANDA KIEFER, ATTACKED ON CLEAR DAY: “I remember being on a gurney in the hospital when they had to identify me. They laughed as they cracked my skull… but what was really the worst part was when I found out that taxpayer money was being used to pay for job training for this man who was avoiding prison for the first crime he committed… (training) for jobs he legally couldn’t hold.”
