Something for the weekend – 24/08/24

It’s always nice to have a long weekend at the end of August, and after the long journey home from Gamescom, it’s much needed… but the bad guys don’t rest much, so prepare for a deluge of previews, interviews and features of things Dom and I saw at the show.

Naturally, Gamescom brought with it a ton of news, so let’s jump right into the biggest announcements, with trailers below.

Before Gamescom I got to check out more of MachineGames’ mixed first person versions Indiana Jones and the Great Circlebefore I shared my hands-on impression for Kingdom Come: Deliverance IIand spoke with Warhorse figurehead Tobi.

Meanwhile, Dom was racing through the countryside with the newly announced Driving Rallywhich rally fans should definitely check out.

I also have a preview of the demo of Emio – The Laughing Man: Famicom Detective Cluband the non-VR version of C-Smash VRS: New Dimension. And with Black Myth: Wukong on many people’s playlists, Aran re-watched Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and an earlier version of this story.
