There are a lot of rumors about the PS6.

So keep in mind that Sony hasn’t revealed the specific specs of the console yet.

While nothing concrete has been discovered yet, there is speculation that Sony is “only considering AMD”.

For many fans discussing this on Reddit, the choice of AMD isn’t all that surprising.

“As far as I know, NVIDIA doesn’t offer a CPU, AMD offers an APU, which is a CPU and GPU on one chip,” No-Chemistry-4561 explains. “That’s why AMD dominates the market for higher-powered consoles.”

However, other users came to NVIDIA’s defense, saying, “The PS3 was good. It was NVIDIA based. But yeah, I don’t think NVIDIA wants to regain that ground and AMD really did a good job here with custom.”

There are also many comments expressing shock that we are already looking at the expected specs of the PS6, while the capabilities of the PS5 have barely been explored yet.

But here we are, ready for the next generation.

The fact that the PS5 is coming isn’t exactly news: it was quietly announced that the PS6 would be released, but we just didn’t notice.

Considering how awesome Sony’s next console is going to be, it stands to reason that it will also have a hefty price tag.

Luckily, it looks like we still have time to start saving, especially since the PS5 Pro is coming out first.

Still, it can’t hurt to put some extra money aside.

Once the PS6 is out, you’ll undoubtedly have to shell out a hefty sum of money for it.
